CCK Team Arrives in Nonouti for Telecommunications Work Inspection

A team from the Communications Commission of Kiribati (CCK) arrived on Nonouti yesterday, 24th August 2026, to carry out a work inspection similar to the one conducted last week on Tabiteuea Maiaki. The team departed Tarawa for Nonouti to undertake the same scope of work carried out during last week's visit to Tabiteuea.

This morning, 25th August, the team met with the Mayor and Acting Clerk at the Island Council's office to inform them of the work to be carried out on the island during their stay. The team is expected to begin work today and continue through to 3rd September 2026.

CCK thanks the Nonouti Island Council for its cooperation and looks forward to a successful and productive visit.
